Firearm Training For Every Skill Level
Rooftop Shooting Academy runs firearm training classes on an 11-acre outdoor tactical range 25 minutes north of McKinney, TX — serving Dallas, Frisco, Plano, Celina, Prosper, and the greater DFW area. Whether you’re picking up a pistol for the first time or refining fundamentals for competition, there’s a class built for where you are.
Jenn Tang, a USPSA and IPSC competitor with multiple High Lady titles, leads our beginner-friendly Ladies programs — Ladies Intro to Pistol Foundations, Ladies Pistol Fundamentals, and Concealed Carry Concepts — designed for new and newer shooters seeking a supportive, structured introduction to pistol safety, fundamentals, and concealed carry.
Andy Dang, a USPSA Master-class competitor, works with shooters at every stage of their pistol journey — not just the advanced crowd. New and newer shooters start with Performance Pistol: Core Fundamentals, building grip, stance, and marksmanship from the ground up. From there, Skills for Speed and Accuracy sharpens those fundamentals, while Mechanics of Movement and Positioning and Dynamic Shooting take experienced shooters into advanced, competition-level training. Along with Practice Day/Office Hours and the Intro to Competition Shooting Clinic for shooters transitioning into competitive stages, Andy offers a complete path from your first pistol class to advanced skill — whether that means competition, personal defense, or simply becoming a more capable shooter. Private instruction is also available with both instructors.
All classes run on Rooftop’s nine 40-yard tactical bays and 150-yard rifle bay near Trenton, TX.
