About Peter Kim
Pete established Rooftop Shooting Range in 2023 after relocating from California to Texas in 2018 to follow his passion for shooting. His first instructor and mentor was met in California, but he was inspired to pursue his shooting journey after discovering significant legal restrictions on firearm use. Since then, Pete has trained with leading instructors like Steve Fisher, Buck Doyle, Jon Dufresne, Scott Jedlinski, Tim Herron, Nick Young, and others. To hone his skills, he has competed in various carbine and pistol events. When not teaching others, he continues to learn from top firearms instructors nationwide. Additionally, he volunteers his time to train underfunded local police departments, enhancing their skill development at no cost.
