About Andy Dang
Andy is a USPSA Master and has been climbing up the competition ranks over the course of 3 years. He strives for performance excellence and self-innovation through focused, intensive training, a willingness to experiment, and thorough diagnostics using data and metrics. Having tutelage from multiple elite instructors and world/national champions, including Mason Lane, Hwansik Kim, and Travis Tomasie, Andy's experience under different perspectives and methodologies gives him a unique insight into practical performance shooting instruction. Andy teaches the core pistol skills — grip, trigger control, movement, speed — that transfer to whatever you’re using them for: competition, personal defense, or simply becoming a more capable, confident shooter. The fundamentals come first; everything else, including tactical or defensive application, is built on top of them.
About Jenn Tang
Jenn Tang is a dedicated USPSA and IPSC competitor who began her shooting journey five years ago. She started as a self-taught shooter before training with respected instructors to refine her skills and elevate her performance. Through consistent discipline and hard work, Jenn has earned multiple High Lady titles and classifications across three divisions and currently competes as an Open A Class shooter.
Beyond competition, Jenn is deeply passionate about helping more women confidently enter shooting sports and the 2A community. Her teaching approach emphasizes safety, confidence building, and empowerment, creating a welcoming and supportive environment where new shooters can learn, grow, and develop strong fundamentals.
Looking ahead, Jenn is focused on continuing to elevate her classification, competing at a higher level, and pursuing a spot on the Ladies World Shoot Team in Italy. She is proud to represent Rooftop Shooting Range as a Rooftop Shooting Team sponsored athlete and values being part of a community that prioritizes hard work, personal growth, and competitive excellence.
Founder: Peter Kim
Peter Kim established Rooftop Shooting Range in 2023 after relocating from California to Texas in 2018 to pursue his passion for shooting. He built the range around the way serious shooters actually train — autonomous RFID bay access, holster draw, movement, steel, and a 150-yard rifle bay — and today he oversees the range and Rooftop Shooting Academy. Peter has stepped back from instruction; RSA classes are taught by Andy Dang and Jenn Tang. He continues to volunteer his time in support of underfunded local police departments, helping them train at no cost.
