Rooftop members have a real advantage on match day: they train on the same bays where matches are shot. Knowing the steel, understanding the bay dimensions, and having practiced movement through those same configurations translates directly to competition performance

If you're serious about PCSL — or want to get serious — a Rooftop membership puts you on the range where the matches happen, between every match date.

What to Bring to Your First Rooftop PCSL Match

Firearm & Holster Your handgun must be worn in a belt holster at waist level with full trigger guard coverage. For 1-Gun Pistol, holsters may be positioned anywhere between 12 and 4 o'clock (right-handed) or 12 and 8 o'clock (left-handed) — including appendix. For Concealment divisions, OWB holsters must be on your strong side between 2 and 4 o'clock, and all gear must remain concealed until the start signal. For 2-Gun, bring your carbine with a sling available — stages may require it.

Ammunition Plan for 150–200 rounds for Pistol and Concealment matches. For 2-Gun, bring 150 rounds of pistol and 150 rounds of carbine separately. Steel core, tracer, and penetrating ammunition are prohibited.

Safety Gear Eye and ear protection are mandatory while shooting. PCSL is a cold range — all firearms stay unloaded until you are under direct RO supervision on a course of fire.

Magazines Magazine pouches are recommended but not required — you can carry mags in your pockets. No spare magazines may be mounted directly to your firearm.

Scoring — Know Before You Shoot PCSL uses hit-factor (points per second) scoring across four zones: T, A, C, and D. The T-Zone is the highest value zone on the current PCSL target. At your first match, focus on accuracy over speed — a clean T-Zone hit at a controlled pace will outscore a rushed miss every time.
