Practice Day & Office Hours is designed for shooters looking to build momentum, refine their skills, and gain clarity in their training. Whether you’re new to performance shooting, training for personal defense, working through a plateau, or aiming to improve match performance, this session provides a structured environment to assess and develop your abilities.

This class blends guided practice with coaching to help identify inefficiencies and introduce actionable solutions. Through a combination of stage runs, focused drills, and targeted instruction, students will receive both group-based learning and individualized feedback. The goal is to provide direction, reinforce fundamentals, and help each shooter leave with a clearer path forward.

The specific skills covered will be tailored to the group based on pre-class input and real-time observations throughout the session.

Subjects:

Stage runs: applying skills under pressure and identifying breakdowns

Diagnostics: identifying inefficiencies in performance and decision-making

Fundamentals refinement: grip, vision, and trigger control under live conditions

Movement and positioning: navigating stages efficiently and effectively

Training strategy: how to structure practice for continued improvement

Coaching feedback: individualized input based on observed performance

Problem solving: adapting to challenges and correcting errors in real time

Equipment Recommendations:

Pistol and/or rifle, magazines

Belt with holster and magazine pouches

Ear protection and eye protection

Ammunition:

Minimum: 200 rounds

Suggested: 300 rounds

Attire / What to Bring:

Attire suitable for forecasted weather conditions

Plenty of hydration and snacks

Time Commitment: 9 AM - 1 PM or 2 PM - 6 PM

Please note that Practice Day & Office Hours is not intended for absolute beginners.

Students should have a basic understanding of safe firearm handling and foundational shooting skills to fully benefit from the coaching and structured practice environment.

Non-Refundable / Credit Policy
All class fees are non-refundable. If you are unable to attend your scheduled class, your payment will be converted into a credit that may be applied toward a future Rooftop Shooting Academy class.
