WAIVER REQUIRED AT EVERY VISIT
All non-members must sign a new waiver every time they come, even if you've shot here before. This is a requirement from our insurance company, so there are no exceptions, including returning guests and members' guests. Save time by signing the waiver online before you arrive.
Day pass admission for experienced shooters. Good for the whole day, so you can come and go as you like.
When you can shoot
Monday to Friday: from 7:30 AM
Saturday and Sunday: from 1:00 PM (weekend mornings are members only)
The range goes cold at 7:30 PM during daylight saving time and at 5:30 PM from November 1 to mid-March. Our hours change when the clocks do.
Who it's for
Rooftop is built for experienced shooters, competitors, professionals and law enforcement. It is not a range for beginners. You must be at least 12 years old to shoot.
RIFLES, PISTOLS AND SHOTGUNS WELCOME
Yes, you can shoot your rifle on a day pass. Rifles, pistols and shotguns are all allowed on the tactical bays. Just follow our steel target rules:
Rifles on steel: nothing larger than .223 / 5.56, and stay at least 30 yards back
No rifles on round steel: don't shoot the dueling tree, plate rack or any circular steel with a rifle
Pistols on steel: at least 10 yards back
Shotguns on steel: birdshot at 15 yards, buckshot at 20 yards and slugs at 30 yards. No buckshot or slugs on the dueling tree or plate rack
No penetrator ammo on steel: no M855 / M855A1 green tip, 7N6, bi-metal jacketed or steel-core rounds

What's included

Steel and paper target stands, VTAC barricades, barrel stacks and shade canopies
Holster draws, movement and rapid fire are allowed once you've been through the safety brief
The 150-yard rifle bay is for members only

Buy your pass here.
Sign the Rooftop Shooting Range Waiver. Required for every non-member at every visit, including returning guests and members' guests.
Come through the gate and check in with a staff member at the pro shop.
Go through a safety brief with a Rooftop RSO and show that you can safely load, press check and unload your firearm.
Head to the bays. Your pass is good all day, so you're free to leave and come back.
What to bring
Your own firearm. Rentals are only available with private lessons.
Eye and ear protection, worn at all times on the bays
Ammo and targets, or pick them up at our self-checkout pro shop on site

Coming with a Rooftop member? Ask them for the member guest code to take 20% ($10) off at checkout. The code is only for guests who arrive with the member who shared it, and staff check at check-in. Winter weekday rate: $35 Monday to Thursday, December 1 to February 28.
