School district safety teams are usually made up of former law enforcement and military personnel who already hold their own instructor credentials. They need a range that gets out of the way, not one that supervises a lane. Rooftop is an outdoor, private-bay facility where your instructors run the day.

Private Bay For Your Group

Your team is not sharing a firing line with the public. The bay is yours for the day.

Qualification And Drills

Holster draw, movement and rapid strings are all on the table, so qualification courses and light training exercises run the way you wrote them.

150-Yard Rifle Bay

Distance work for carbine and precision rifle, with tank traps and a PRS barricade.

Stocked Bays

Paper target stands, steel targets, moveable barricades, VTAC walls, barrels and competition walls on site.

Simple Flat-Rate Pricing

Tactical Bay

$500

per day, groups under 15. Private 40-yard bay.

Large Tactical Bay

$750

per day, groups of 15 or more. 30 yards wide by 40 yards deep with ample parking.

Rifle Bay

$750

per day, flat rate. 150 yards for carbine and rifle courses.

Large teams can split into groups across bays. Flat daily rates, no per-shooter range fees. We will invoice your billing contact directly and accept your Texas tax exemption certificate.

How A Range Day Works

  1. Email us your dates and headcount. We confirm availability and walk through your training plan by phone.
  2. Send your paperwork. A certificate of insurance naming Rooftop Shooting Academy LLC as Additional Insured on your general liability policy, your Texas sales tax exemption certificate (Form 01-339), and your billing contact. We can supply our W-9.
  3. Tell us what you need. Target stands, steel, barrels, tables or canopies. We set up before you arrive.
  4. Waivers. Every participant completes our online waiver within 24 hours of the training date. You can send the link ahead of time.
  5. Show up and train. Your instructors run the day. We can have staff on site to help with setup.
